Open positions for Freelance Architects and Interior Designers

As a newly established studio, we are looking for freelance architects and interior designers to collaborate with us on ongoing hospitality projects.

Our work focuses on the evolving hospitality landscape in Northern Finland: hospitality developments such as resorts, tourism areas and holiday housing, alongside brand strategy and brand launches.

Our approach is grounded in sustainable design, customer experience and creative thinking. We are currently seeking architects and interior designers with at least four years of professional experience across different design phases, from concept development to implementation. Our projects range from master planning to detailed architectural and interior design.

These are project-based, fixed-term freelance roles, offering flexibility in scope, duration and ways of working. As a small and growing studio, our collaborations are both responsible and diverse. You will work closely with a network of studios and independent creatives across the design and construction industries, with the opportunity to shape your role, tools and working methods based on your strengths and interests.

Requirements

• Degree in architecture or interior design
• Experience across different design phases and with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in BIM software
• Proficiency in English
• A balanced combination of creative thinking and precise technical problem-solving skills

Considered an advantage

• Experience in hospitality architecture and residential design
• Experience as Principal Designer
• Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish
• Experience working independently with clients
• Experience with AI-assisted design workflows

• Flexible working arrangements from our Helsinki studio (Museokatu 11) and/or remotely

• Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of brand designers, art directors and other specialists
